As a first generation Korean-American, I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. At Saint Louis University I majored in criminal justice, sociology and philosophy. During my senior year I interned with the Missouri Attorney General and Missouri Commission of Human Rights. I completed my masters in International law of human rights from Utrecht University in the Netherlands and worked in The Hague at the NGO, Global Human Rights Defense. Returning stateside, I worked for the U.S. Census Bureau in Washington, DC.
Now I live in Los Angeles with my husband and amazing daughter and am concentrating on many on-going projects, including my photography [Chi Mee Images], philosophy, writing and animations. I am surrounded by natural beauty and am addicted to capturing my surroundings.
